GOALKEEPER TRAINING

With such a big emphasis being placed on the modern-day GKs and their ability to impact the game, they are often overlooked in team sessions and usually don’t get the fundamental training that they require. At Extra Time AFC we offer high-quality weekly GK training sessions for junior Goalkeepers between the age of 7-14 years old. Our training centres provide the framework for players to better develop in all aspects as a GK in the modern game including their technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social skills.

Suitable training wear depending on weather conditions (e.g base layers, rain jacket etc)
Shin pads must be worn
Bottle of water
Firm-ground / moulded boots suitable for 3G pitches (Non-Studs)
GK Gloves
Astroturf Trainers for 1-1 / Small Group Sessions

2 Free Trial Sessions for new players

Sessions run throughout the year including pre-season
Prices start from £29.99 a month after free sessions
1-1 Advanced GK Sessions - £30 an hour
2-1 Advanced GK Sessions - £40 an hour
